PM Narendra Modi to Visit Wardha for National ‘PM Vishwakarma’ Programme



Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Wardha in Maharashtra today. Mr Modi will participate in the National ‘PM Vishwakarma’ Programme, marking one year of progress under PM Vishwakarma Yojana. During the programme, Mr Modi will release certificates and loans to PM Vishwakarma beneficiaries.

PM Vishwakarma Yojana, launched for skill development of artisans associated with traditional occupations, is completing a year. To mark this anniversary occasion, ,Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a function organised at Swavalambai ground in Wardha city today. Prime Minister will hand over the toolkits and loan disbursement letters to the beneficiaries of this scheme. He will also interact with the artisans at the theme pavilion built at the venue showcasing the work and products of traditional artisans. During the program, the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of PM Mitra Textile Park to be set up in Amravati district of West Vidarbha PM will also launch two schemes of the Government of Maharashtra which includes ‘Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Center’ for free skill development training of youths and ‘Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Women Startup Scheme’ for helping women-led startups to become self-reliant.
