President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have congratulated the Indian wrestler Aman Sehrawat on winning the Bronze Medal at the Paris Olympics. In a social media post, the President said one of the youngest male wrestlers in the Games, Aman has won a medal in his very first Olympics. She added that the wrestler has a promising career ahead and he will win several medals and accolades for India. The President also said that with his success, India continues its tradition of winning Olympic medals in wrestling.
The Vice President said, Aman’s unwavering dedication and perseverance has made the nation proud on the global stage. He wished the Indian grappler continued success in all future endeavours. The Prime Minister said Aman Sehrawat’s dedication and perseverance are clearly evident. He added that the entire nation is celebrating this remarkable feat. Union Home Minister also lauded Aman for his remarkable perseverance and strength.
